Why was Cho so jealous of "rich kids", did he really have it so bad?

He had a nice dorm room that he kept a mess.
He had a Compaq desktop, Dell Latitiude D810 laptop, digital camera, etc.

When I went to college I had to sleep in my truck until I could find a job good enough to afford a cheap apt. Yet I didn't feel the need to ventilate my classmates, and some of them were spoiled brats.

I was teased off and on from elementary through high school because I was born with a deformed hand and for having a slight speech impediment and managed to make it out without killing anyone so, while I understand how hard it can be to be bullied, there are better ways than murder that he could've chosen to express his frustration.

He was teased as a kid about his voice and appearance.

That is part of the problem with promoting class jealousy. Our liberal friends love to pull the class inequality card at every turn, while ignoring that even our 'poor' are rich by the global standard. They also ignore that our 'poor' is not a static group. Studies show that of the poorest 20% in the country in one year, only 10% (of the original 20%) are still in the poorest 20% ten years later, thus ours is a very mobile society. This also implies we cannot talk about a permanent poor class. But when you are young, if you are told that you are being kept down by 'the rich' you will develop jealousy instead of going out and making yourself rich, if that is what you want.

Seeing as he grew up in Fairfax County (a VERY expensive county to live in) and he didnt have a job while in college, he WAS a rich kid.

It was probably only the rich kids at school that picked on him.

He was sitting on his pity-pot. He'd dug a hole and jumped in and said "oh pity me" and waited for someone to pull him out and give him verbal strokes to tell him how wonderful he was because he believed he was horrible.

When people are wallowing in self-pity, especially if they have an addictive type personality, they dislike anyone who has what they want and believe they should have but never will have.

In such a case, anyone who has anything more than he has would be someone he'd define as "rich kids". He didn't want to have to work to get himself what he wanted, he wanted it to just be given to him.

You obviously cared about yourself and felt that you could make your life better by your actions.

Chow didn't like himself, nor did he feel he could get anything good in life by how he acted in a positive fashion.

He was a douche! That's why he was jealous. No matter what things he had no one liked him. So that's why he was a jealous cry baby douche. No one gave a rat's *** about him, not even enough to watch someone they "knew" could be a threat one day. He was a stalker and was not a pleasant person. His own family didn't care for him, they gave him things rather than a family. And thanks to the psy-cho family, they have provided racist people like waiching liu a platform to preach and blame other people for this bastard's actions, and she's a spoiled brat as well, so she can totally relate to all of this. She's also been threatening to have people beaten, so she represents all mentally ill asians, and is very proud to be their new poster child.

It sounds like he was seriously mentally ill, possibly schizophrenic. He perceived that he was treated badly, but this likely wasn't logical thinking. His jealousy was probably related to symptoms of mental illness such as delusions, paranoia, and grandiosity.

This is a problem many more suffer from too.

They want FAME ... they SPEND too much time, money, and love into a flat screen ... video games, TV, Internet. Like most everything humans do ... we search for love and attention from what we like. How do we get attention from TV or video games? The answer is we emulate them.

Cho probably didn't see a quick way to get onto a reality TV show (spoiled rich kids ... MTV sweet sixteen parties ... blond bomb shells taking it off (ah, but not for him)). So, his solution was to create a situation where he could get "Post-Mortem Fame". Even the video he sent to NBC was like a movie trailer for the next upcoming summer blockbuster. The only thing it was missing was background music playing, "I'm going down in a blaze of glory" and a quick motto said the "Movie Voice" ... but I'm sure in his delusional head, he heard this and imagined this splattered all over TV News.

My revenge to Cho is to deny him "Post-Mortem Fame" by personally ignoring his images and words. I've written ABC asking them to help me get revenge in this way too ... don't know if they'll listen ... but it was worth the effort.
