Do digital cameras double as digital video recorders? |
If not that's ok, I'm thinking about buying one. DO you know of any good brands, that won't cost me my left and right arms. I'm willing to spend up too 120 on it, but thats its. Are there any good cheap brand ones? Not too cheap that it doesn't work good, or the quality is bad. most digi cams have a video function. but video takes up so much space that most will only record a few minutes worth. if you only have $120 you're not going to get much quality even in for the photos. but even in that price range there should still be video capabilities. just keep in mind that most digi-cams are going to record in vga or svga. around 640x480 resolution. so don't plan on creating any dvd's out of the video footage you shoot. but for posting on youtube, myspace, and the like it should be fine. Huh? I dont know what brand it is but mine does. I had to buy a chip though so it can record for along time. Some do, some don't Some cammeras have the function, depends on brand and model. And also recording time will vary depending on how large of a memory card you purcahse Many newer ones will record short clips of video, but for videos over about 30 seconds, you're better off with a digital video recorder. Many digital cameras have video recording on them these days. I got a Kodak Easy Share C315 for $90 and it works great. I got it on sale. The video on mine does not have sound though. If you are looking for sound you may have to pay a little bit more. There are many sales on Kodak right now that end soon. There are cameras for very cheap and some with free shipping i think. Most, if not all digital cameras these days, can record 'video', Hi, perhaps you can also try google picasa. |
