Where can I order portraits from pictures that I took from my digital camera? |
A friend of mine had her pictures taken for her wedding portrait by a friend and downloaded them to a website where they created a portrait for her. It was a lot cheaper than going to a phographer. She can't remember the site. Does anyone know of anything like this or where I can look? Do you have pictures through your personal digital camera? If so, you can create an account at picasaweb.google.com, upload all of your photos, and order the prints through the website (I think they are technically developed from www.shutterfly.com). You can choose the size/quanitity that you want, and they can deliver the pictures right to your house. They're really reasonably priced and quick to develop them. the mall There a lot of sites. Some of the more popular ones are www.snapfish.com, www.shutterfly.com, www.winkflash.com. Good luck. go to www.adorama.com and click on the adorama pix tab. They are cheap and do a wonderful job. Or for larger prints check out www.mpix.com a little higher but a wonderful job also. I am a semi-professional photographer and I use both sights and have always been pleased. When you sign up a new account with adorama, I believe they give you 25 free 4x6 prints. At CVS, Walgreens,or Wal-Mart there is a kiosk were you take your memory card or stick and put it in the hole. then your pictures will load and you can see which ones you want. If you still have the memory card where the digital pictures are stored, you can have the portraits made from virtually anywhere. There are many studios that print digital portraits and they are cheaper anyway. You can even do it yourself with a good quality photo printer. www.walmart.com |
