I have about 1000 photos from a digital camera that I would like to print out in 4x6 photos?

I would say shop around to find a good professional printer. If you try to print them yourself it will be more expensive in the long run when you factor in time cutting and printing. As well as the cost of the paper and ink. I know at one time Wal-mart offered discounts if you printed over a certain number of prints but I not sure of their current pricing offers.. I would also recommend finding one that can print from a CD. It may take quite some time uploading 1000 pictures to a website.

Almost every chain drugstore will do this for you for under 10 cents per print. Try Eckerd, I've used them in the past.

With such a bulk ammount of photos you want to have made, you could set up a deal and get a good discount at a local printing store, or even with a business online.

You could also use http://www.shutterfly.com/, a highly recomended site with good prices and an easy photo uploader. My dad uploads only about 200 photos at a time, but I have no doubt you could upload 1000 just as easily. Signing up for shutterfly is free, it's just the prints themselves that cost money.
