Can you take pictures with a portable digital camera and transfer those pictures directly to your computer.?

or do you strictly have to have a Webcam? Do those cheap webcams take decent pictures?

Your camera's pics should transfer easily to the computer...there is a memory card reader you can get at staples that hooks into a port on the computer and it is as easy as sliding your card in at the ATM. Some people have luck with web cam photos, but I have not been one of them. Stick with the digital camera if you want nice non grainy photos

Yes you can transfer them if they have a usb port(which most of them do).Just plug in the adapter from camera to pc and they will begin to transfer after a few seconds.I am not sure about web cams.

yup, your camera should of came with a usb cable..just connect it directly into ur computer from your camera.

If you don't have a cable bring your camera to an electronic store near you and they will help you get the USB cable.
