i would like to ask you guys where i can get cheap 35mm digital cameras. and can you guys suggest good kinds of 35mm digital cameras. I took a quick look at some of your answers and I get the impression you are a young girl, perhaps a teen. I would think you are trying to decide what camera would suit you best. Don't be put off by everyone telling you 35mm refers to a film size, etc. It's a common thing to do.
My guess is you would like an inexpensive camera to drop in your purse so you can get a quick pic when you want one. It would be good to have a small model with a large display on the back as most people like to look at the display rather then through a viewfinder. Also, a large display lets you see and show others the pictures you just made which is fun.
You need a camera that either retracts the lens or at least protects the lens with a dust cover.
You need a camera with 3 megapixels and hopefully at least a 3x optical zoom. (Ignore digital zoom numbers. They are meaningless) Of course you also want a built-in flash.

35mm is a film size.
The closest you can get to that is a DSLR by Nikon or Canon, but the "full frame" versions are over $4500 for body only.
The cheapest DSLR is probably the Nikon D40x at $650 for the body only I guess you mean the lens at 35mm.
Most of the DSLR come with 18-55mm zoom lenses as standard package. try ebay or yahoo shopping 35mm can means two things here.
35mm digital camera - which means a full frame digital camera (with sensor size as big as a 35mm film). This kind of camera is available on professional SLR type only and can be very expensive (a Canon 5D is the cheapest one, for 2000 bucks or so).
35mm lens as mentioned by others. You can easily get one of these for your DSLR - some of them are included in kit, but mostly comes with a zoom lenses for about 18-55mm. |
