I need help from pros. I need a good digital camera. low-light, swivel LCD, high megapixels. the works...
I need a camera that does well in low light for those in home pictures without the use of a flash. i am also looking an LCD that swivels, preferably 360 degrees. Megapixels arent really important so long as its not below 5 megapixels. price is also not a concern but cheap is good. I know there are some real pros out there somewhere who can help me. I'd appreciate any and all the help you give or suggest. Thank you again in advance for your time and effort.

First of all none of the pro cameras have a swivel LCD. We really don't use them (LCD's) that often except as a "Polaroid" exposure meter. The only time I use my LCD is when I have a nervous art director or model who insists on seeing each image I shoot on the LCD (I sometimes have to walk into the shade or other low light area so the can even see an image).

Megapixel wise, it is only half the equation. The other half is sensor size. These two components are perhaps the most important factors which will provide you with high quality photos.

Low light shooting is a combination of high ISO and large f/stop (f/2.8 or faster) so a low noise sensor is the first choice.

What you are really looking for is a high end comsumer camera like the Nikon Coolpix 8800 with a non-interchangable lens 10x zoom or a Canon PowerShot G7 6X zoom.

The Canon S3 or better would be the only thing that fills the bill.

There is a new TX1 coming out that might also be nice.

I suggest getting a Sony R1 digital cam. Its an SLR like camera offering manual controls like manual focus, manual zoom, iso settings, etc... it also has a swivel lcd screen. It is also moderately priced.
