Hi~ are digital cameras cheaper in japan than singapore?

Im planning to get one during December as i hear some friends mentioning it might be cheaper for japanese models. But im not sure. Anybody able to comment on this?

Well, if the Japanese themselves come to Singapore to buy cameras, this will tell you where better to get yours too.

No, they're not cheaper. And there's a problem because the directions will be in Japanese. And if there's a problem with the camera,you would have to mail it back.
