Does anyone know of a good digital camera that is less than $200? preferably 5.0 megapixels or more, and a good name brand. Thanks! at circuit city $119.99 7.2 mp easy to use but get rechargeable batteries or it dies in 10 min!
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Samsung-S... Kodak easy share it sells for about 125 and takes shots like a pro. Easy fast simple cheap and you can share on-line or print from your pc I bought a HP Photosmart E327 for less than $100 from Walmart, and I love it!! It's 5.0 MP and is easy to use.
I've tried Kodak, but when I had issues with it and called their customer service department, I had a less than pleasant experience.

On a personal note, Canons often have better cameras. :) Even though I personally own this ultra compact camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:
1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. Has tripod mount on bottom of camera;
9. And the price is a mere $120 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com.]

Good luck! I say this camera its only 199$ and they even sell it in colors i just got it like a week ago and i lvoe it!!! its really good ,and its 7 mgeapixels, everyone that gets it loves it.
