What's a good cheap digital camera that can take clear close-up pictures of pages in books? |
Please base your answer upon YOUR OWN PERSONAL experience, not something you heard or read. To thesecitiessleep: Scanners break the bindings and spines of old books when they must be laid flat in order to scan a page. I need a good camera whereby I can hold the book safely open a bit and snap a photo that will show copyright-page details or an author's signature, etc. Thanks for your answer though. Nikon cameras are the once recommended for close-ups. They have good macro mode upto 1cm as well. why cant you just use a scanner. They are, in my opinion, much more usefull when it comes to details in books, and my case my sketches. Cameras arent that great at taking in the details in letters and stuff. if you wanna take pictures so close don't use a digital camera use a 35mm camera with a 20mm lens Consumer Search reviws digital cameras and recommends the best ones. |
