NIKHON coolpix - cheap and best. My little brother has the Kodak easyshare digital camera for $120 and i swear it works so much better than my cannon!
I just saw it for under $100 on-line: C530 http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.j... go to walmart you can buy a really cheap one for around $10 but its not all that easy to use so as long as you stick around $90 to $100 you got yourself a good one no need to spend $400 for one if you are rarly going to use it. the kodak easy share is pretty cheap but still close to $200
I have it and here's the pros about it
it comes with kodak easy share software
fast upload
takes great photos
it's not too small but it's not big either
the cons
kodak easy share takes up a lot of space on computers and to be honest I hate it.
fast upload ONLY if you don't have easy share on your computer
unless you have an added memory card it doesn't hold that many pics
zoom pics aren't the greatest. stay in the blue range on the side bar. I take great pix with a Canon A520. It's quite reasonable now. They have great software and the camera is very simple to operate. I highly recommend Canon products. Don't overlook closeouts on various major brand cameras.
I picked up an 8 megapixel Olympus for $200 that does far more than I dared hope for the price.
You'll find a lot of end-of-life models that are more than good enough for your needs. I suggest the Fugifilm FinePix A500. Very good on batteries, has 5 megapixels. Beach Camera in Edison,NJ sells it for $95- + shipping. The best camera for under $200 is the Canon A550
* 7.1 Megapixel
*4X Optical Zoom
* Very good photo quality, noise levels low through ISO 400 (in good light)
* Well built for the price
* Very good performance
* LCD visible in low light
* Some manual controls
* AF-assist lamp, good low light focusing
* Good movie and continuous shooting modes
* Impressive software bundle
* Uses AA batteries; great battery life
* USB 2.0 High Speed support The best way is to look at all the info you can so i would look at this site:http://www.digitalcamera-hq.com/digital-... |
