Should I not spend christmas with my family?

This Christmas, I really don't want to spend it with my family, I am always misserable and bored. But my dad really wants me to spend it with him and his girlfriend and her 2 kids. But I know I'm not getting anything, and I really really dont want to sit and watch my step brother get his Wii and laptop, and my step sis get her car, ps3 and digital camera. Maybe i'm greedy idk. I always get EVERYONE presents every year. This year I just asked my dad and step mom if I could get soemthing Hello kitty, just something cheap and they said they already spent there limit. This year, I am trying my best to help out less fortunate children.
idk I guess I just dont think that it iis fair that I have to sit and watch everyone get awsome presents when I cant even get something cheap. I guess I'm just greedy.

But do you thinkn I should just suck it up for another year and go with the people that dont really like me...or put my foot down and not go.

You need to follow your heart. It seems it like they are pushing you out the family if they can't get you something even homemade of soem kind and how old are you. You need to listen to your heart and see want you think.. If you don't want to go then don't go and tell them you not coming and tell them why. If they want you there then they might get you something.. And there since no limit if they get paid weekly.

dont spend time with them if they dont want to get you something then dont spent with them thats was christmas is about im not getting nothing either ur not the only one

I don't blame you one bit for not wanting to spend the holiday with them. You dad's girlfriend and her kids have no legitimate involvement in your life, and for them to expect you to spend your precious holidays with them is just wrong.

i say spend time with them, you never know miracles happen

I would gently explain it to your family that you would prefer to spend the holiday with someone else. (Or that for whatever reason you cannot go. Illness perhaps??) Whatever way they will best handle it. But lovingly explain it, whatever you choose to say.

Get them some coal.

christmas is about spending time with your family. if you don't like your step mom and bro and sis, then don't be bothered by them. think of your dad who wants you to be with the family. afterall, he's your dad. i think you should talk to your dad too heart to heart about your feelings and all the things you want him to know. maybe your dad hasn't seen it and was overshadowed much by your step mom that's why he's acting like everyhthing's fine with you. anyway, continue what you're planning for for the less fortunate. it's great great idea!! you'll make the world happy in your own ways.
