When madeline first dissapeared a woman said she had sighted a young girl with a man around the docks/harbour..... No-one did anything. Morrocco is directly accross from portugal on a boat...... No-one has done anything.Wouldnt this be the first place you would look for her? I think her parents have acted strange but i think the way portugese media and police have handled it plays a huge part in them coming off strangely.OK i know the initial mistake was the mccanns for leaving them.no disputing that.But why didnt they follow up the sighting around the harbour that night and why didnt they search morrocco first? And if the picture is a fake done you think the photographers/detectives, would be the first to know this? Anyway im as baffled as anyone however im not just going round saying , shes dead like some idiots on here, i have children myself and hope she is found.This media bullying is wrong and i think yes they are being punished for leaving their children I doubt it. I know someone who has a daughter, they have chinese and jamaican mix blood in them, and their daughter came out with blonde hair and blue eyes. His wife is English. Their daughter has fair skin, so this could be one of the ladies daughters baby in the picture. Don't build your hopes up. Edit: This is what someone has said about the photo on the Mirror Forums site. Hi, I don't want to sound like theAuthor, but I was thinking about the photo enlargement on the Morocco photo. The full photo: http://www.cope.es/archivos/es.....ubia_... is 780x585 pixels - not a resolution I am used to seeing, and therefore probably a reduction from the original. The aspect ratio is 4:3 so I am guessing we probably have a full frame. How much of a reduction? In the full photo, the lady carrying Maddy is 67 pixels high. Now look at the high zoom photo: http://www.cope.es/archivos/es.....ubia_... In the high zoom photo, the lady carrying the child is 402 pixels high. This is 6 times the full photo. If this is correct and the full photo is a 6:1 reduction of the original, then the resolution of the camera would be 6 times 780x585, which would make it: 4680x3510. This would mean it was taken on a 16-megapixel camera. Now these do exist, but are not usually carried by tourists. So, there are two possibilities: (1) the image was taken on a 16-megapixel camera (2) the image was taken on a lower-res camera and blown up Why is this important? Even if it was a 16MP camera, the girl's face is only 50 pixels high, which would make identification tricky at best, although I acknowledge it does look a bit like Maddie. But why would anyone be carrying a 16MP camera around Morocco on hols? If it wasn't, then we aren't looking at an unaltered image - it would need to have been enlarged to fifty pixels and then smoothed to avoid blockiness, possibly with a soften filter. I am not drawing any conclusions from this, just pointing it out. it seems the parents know where maddie is, be it dead or alive ...Enquiring minds need to know Someone did do something. The man with his child at the harbour was ruled out as it was his own family comings and goings. the picture is fake, she is dead. 'I dont know what to believe' ?! Well on the basis of media reports you wouldn't - so think about who are feeding the media all their stories............... I think we all have our own thoughts on this case. If people think she is dead, it does not make them idiots, they have a different viewpoint. None of us know exactly what has gone on, we are just forming opinions and suspicions and putting our views forward which we are entitled to do and so are you. |
