Photograph of Child and Elephant Bowing? |
This is a contemporary photo that was in a fairly recent exhibit. The exhibit won several awards. This photo showed a small child in Eastern dress facing an elephant. Both (I think) were bowing. Can anyone help me find the photographer and, if possible, the name of the photograph? I'm pretty sure it was done in sepia tones. I know it's possible to purchase prints, but not through the usual art shops-- this is available in a very few galleries. I'm fairly sure the exhibit was shot in India. Sorry this is all so vague; I only saw this photo once, and was just blown away. its called tokyo boy reading...or child reading to elephant, not sure BUT its by george colbert and the show is called ashes and snow. you can buy a poster of it here, but its low quality and has words all over it. as for a print, idk. try google!
