Children's/ Baby Photographer? |
What education and what degree do you need? Many (if not most) of baby / children photographer are not formally educated in school. It has been my experience that many of them are mother's who started taking pics of their own children and then turned pro. It seems that mothers are natural with kids (and kids feel comfortable with women / mothers). In children photography this is much more important than a degree. In professional photography, models are paid to look good and smile just right. The younger models (baby) can only look good if they are feeling good. ==== You still have to learn the basics of portrait photography (mostly indoor lighting and /or exposure), camera operations, etc. but that's nothing special.
