Want Potraits Done Of The Kids, Seen a Style I Like whats it called?

hello, I want to take my children to a professional photographer to have have huge pictures taken of them for the newly decorated living room to across the big wall. There is a style I like that has a modern feel its where the subject wears any clothes they like and the background is white. sometimes they have extra objects in the pics and other times they dont, It would look good with the living room but a friend of mine said that sometimes the photographer asks the subject to pose barefoot. I thought this was a great idea as none of my kids wear shoes and socks in the house or other peoples houses and thats by their own choice. All my kids are boys and would love it to have huge individual portraits of my little men. So how do i go about finding a photographer that shoots pictures that looks like it was taken in a massive empty white space? I have never been to a professional photographer so I dont know what i am looking for. Any help please?

The "massive empty white space" is a typical shooting style, especially for product photos and some modeling. The terms typically used to describe it are "high key" or "white seamless". Almost any photographer should have this available, some studios create large seamless areas for products shots of motorcycles or cars, etc. some just use muslin backgrounds or long seamless sheets of paper. The only real challenge is to use enough light on the background to blow out any details and to flatten the subject lighting.
