I am looking for a reasonalbly priced digital camera that can take sports action pictures. My kids are getting into sports and I want to be able to capture the action. Not looking for compact, want a camera with good zoom and fast shutter speed. What brands should I be looking at? Also want to stay under $500, so nothing to fancey. That puts you right in the middle of the DSLR cameras and you will only be able to stay under $500 if you find a good used one.
You will need a lens like the 70-300mm for shooting field sports.
