What is a great digital camera? High megapixel, fairly high zoom ability and compact? Thanks for the help.?

Panasonic DMC TZ1 (10x opitical zoom) 5 Mpix very compact for a ten-times optical zoom camera but noise can be a problem.

Nikon Coolpix S4 (10x optical zoom) 6 Mpix

Canon Powershot A700 (6x optical zoom) 6 Mpix

Panasonic DMC-LZ2 (6x optical zoom) 5 Mpix

The camera which has good quality lense.. which has hig storage and which has hig optical zoom is the best camera

I think you need to look at what application your going to use it for first. Canon and Sony make a fairly good camera that has good zoom and is a fairly high MP. I beleive they are the IS S2 and the Sony H2. However these are not compact. Your going to have to trade zoom for compactness. A camera with a large zoom tends to be larger. Its a trade off, ask yourself what you would rather have "slim or zoom" Last look at the Lens quality and CCD Sensor size, these make a huge difference, its not always the megapixel rating.

How expensive are you looking? What will you be photographing? It's really difficult to suggest a camera for you with so little information. However, for a relatively nice camera for low cost check out the Sony Cybershot series.
