What are some compact digital cameras with 10x OPTICAL zoom or higher????

i have a 20d so the ones i listed before are compact to me, lol...the 2 above are prob more what u are looking for but still arent super compact cameras but will fit in your pocket...i suggest the panasonic out of those Report It

In order for a camera to be a compact, it has to rely on a digital zoom. Optics take up space although they take superior pictures.

hmm ... i am amazed that these companies have developed that much ... 10x OPTICAL is a gr8 achievement and to make it compact is another achievement ... i wud luv to buy one of those >>>>>>> this shows that the compainies have advanced technologically and u have to wunderstand that we are moving to a future which is COMPACT ... like see the IPOD ... the original one and the nano one ... see the difference ... its like all the features of the original ipod is replicated in a much more smaller size ... anyway the optical zoom needs a higher sliding technology which should be smooth .... and to pack such zoom in these lenses ....... one word AMAZING
