Whta is the best compact digital camera if money is no option?

The best all-around compact? The higher-end ones each do something a bit better than the others.

I like the following cameras the best out of the high-end compacts:

Fuji S9100
Fuji S6000fd
Fuji IS-1
Olympus SP-550uz
Panasonic DMC FZ-50

All of the cameras have 6-10 MP at least 10x zoom and can shoot in RAW.

Fuji: All of the cams come with the best sensor for the least amount of noise. None of them come with image stabilization

Olympus: Only one with an UW housing, 18x zoom and can shoot up to 15 frames per second at a reduced resolution

Panasonic: Highest MP, second highest zoom, only cam here to use SD or SDHC cards, can make widescreen movies.

I have a Nikon D70 and wouldn't trade it for anything. If you want good pictures, especially an 8x10, stay away from campact cameras.

I'll be back later or tomorrow to answer your question, but in the meantime - please "add details" and explain what you mean by "if money is no option." Do you really mean, "if money is no OBJECT," as in the price doesn't matter? Or, do you mean that you have barely any money and a high price is out of the question?
