Hi! I'm looking for a good digital camera for around $200-300 max. Mostly, I need one that has no shutter delay because I am not a "pose for a picture" person, i have to get the real life action. The camera I have now takes a few seconds to focus and then flashes twice before taking the picture. By then, I've lost the shot. I need a camera that will focus and take the picture right when I press the button.
Any recommendations???
Thanks so much for your help!! :) Try a Nikion Cool Pix 6Mp camera they run around $150-$200 at Wal-Mart it can take 16 pictures with one press of the button and has a 3x zoom feature its a very nice camera for the price. The Canon PowerShot is a good model and goes for around 200-300 bucks. Very quick clicks and is easy to use. But before you purchase one go to your neighborhood Best Buy or Circuit City and try it out before you purchase it.
http://tech.yahoo.com/pr/canon-powershot... I see two problems there. First of all there is some shutter lag with all point and shoot cameras (from 0.8 to 2 seconds). Secondly the highest shutter speed on those cameras is 1/2000th of a second.
DSLR cameras on the other hand use the same shutters that SLR cameras use and there is virtually no discernible shutter lag and some of them will shoot at 1/8000th of a second.
You may have to rethink your budget for this project. |
