Compare and contrast digital and analog video camera formats. What do they have in common? What are their differences?

Basically you want to be using digital camera's these days, because the quality is great, it's cheap to own and easy to edit. Analog cameras require a special card to insert into your computer, while not expensive it is still annoying.
If your new then buy a mini-DV camcorder. Buy a Mac, it comes with iMovie. Plug and play.
Add: You will a firewire cable too. This must be a school assignment, which means to deliver a good project in order to receive a good grade, you will need to do more research outside of Yahoo Answers. The question you pose sounds like it could be a techie project or an artsy project...which is it?
You can write a book on the technical differences and the evolution of the video cameras ... or you can write a book on the differences in "look and feel" of the resulting footage created by analog and digital formats. |
