Can anyone help me please, i really need help?

Compare and contrast digital and analog video camera formats. What do they have in common? What are their differences?

Not sure what it is that you're actually looking for, as analog cameras are pretty much on their way out.

In the 'old' days, much could be done with digital circuitry, but so many chips were needed that pure size was an issue. In an age of nanotechnology, entire devices can be contained in a single small chip.

Purists will maintain that analog technology is much 'truer' than digital as a/d & d/a conversion is required for digital, but frankly, in analog, even real imagery to pickup sensor, amplification and processing, storage onto tape, all represent conversion and loss.

The advantage is that digital camera technology is cheaper, resolution can be preserved by additional levels of digitation, contrast ratio can be accentuated, smaller storage media can be used, digitized data can be repeatedly transferred with minimal loss, for starters.

For what both technologies have in common, both are subject to the limitations of optical input capability. Highly precision glass lenses, especially those that permit substantial zoom, is still a physical technology. Digital technology can electronically "zoom" in further, with a loss of resolution and resulting pixelation. Analog cameras have no zoom ability beyond the glass.
