Isn't a 2.0 Megapixel digital camera good enough? |
I still use a 2.0 Megapixel Kodak Easy Share digital camera that I got two years ago. The prints (even up to 8 x 10) are perfect. I can't tell the difference in a 4 x 6 from my camera compared to a 4.0+ Megapixel print. The file size is manageable, also. Probably nothing. If you are happy with the results, then there's no reason to upgrade. Oh yeah, man. If the prints look the same as a 4 mp camera, something's wrong with the camera. If you are happy with the quality of prints you get, then yes it is good enough. nothing, only if you were doing some photo editing hardcore where the high pixel count gives you more to work with, and if your doing professional pictures gives you more vibrance. but for you just keep what you have. dont spend the $$ nothing, but we will have to get used to it.there will be hundreds of new models for us to buy.that's the plan of nokia and etc. they are doing it on purpose the only reason you would want a camera with a higher megapixel is if you are printing huge poster-sized pictures. But otherwise a 2-MP is great, but I would go up to a 3 megapixel just for better clarity. if your happy then thats what counts. I had a 4.megapixel and went to 5.2 there was a world of diffrence for me, but do your thing. I have a Kodak 1.3 megapixel and the pictures are great. There actually better when printed off rather then on the computer. I don't know if you'd have better quality or not if you traded up.both of my son-in-laws have cameras with more megapixels and their pictures are no better than mine A 2.0 megapixel camera is OK. It will be able to produce nice 4X6 inch prints. It won't be good for prints larger that 8X10. |
