I bought a new digital camera, a Kodak Z885 and the pics are terrible compared to my older Kodak Z730, why? |
The new camera is a 8.1 mp and my old one was only 5.0 mp. Using just the auto setting on both cameras if you compare side by side the same pic, my old camera is WAY better. Even the images on the LCD screen on my old camera are clear. The new camera is very grainy, you can see every pixel. So how do I find out why my old camera is so much better because I was really wanting a newer camera with a higher MP and some new features. Help!! sorry One... don't totally judge by the LCD screens on the camera. Kodak probably reduced the amount of $$$ they put into a quality LCD screen. I'd try putting the pictures on your computer... also, Kodak seems to be lacking lately in the image stabilization category. Meaning, it doesn't focus on your subject very well and makes for a blurry or grainy shot. I've seen a LOT of people, just like you, who upgraded their Kodak for "more MP and more features" and ALL of them either returned it, or just used their old camera. Something must have went wrong on the assembly line because there are a lot of complaints. You may also want to mess around with the "meter" option and "white balance;" it adjusts the amount of light through the shutter and the shutter speed, which might make for better pictures. Good luck! After reading your first answerer, if possible take camera back to store and get your money back. If that can be done, no more Kodaks. Buy Canon, Fuji or Sony. i really dont like kodak for cameras. cause they are not as good as they use to be and if i were you again take it back and get a canon. |
