I have heard that things like digital cameras and laptops and stuff like that are more expensive in Europe, is that true?
If so, how much are they? Are there any places over there to get better prices on things - kinda like Wal-Mart type places here? What kind of places should I look for? The value-added tax (sales tax) in the UK is about 18 to 20%. Everything is more expensive in the UK. UK's Wal-Mart is called ASDA. Also, the plugs and voltage are different. The price is the same. But it is in different currency. ie 299 US is not equal to 299 UK yes a lot more expensive in England I know,
they do have a walmart in england, but its called something else,
