Whom should I print my photos from?

I have a digital camera, so of course all my photos are on the computer. Well, I have about 2 or more years worth of photos I'd like to have printed & put into photo albums. I've printed photos out at home with my own printer but even with the right paper I don't like the quality as good as with getting it done somewhere else, plus the ink gets expensive. I've printed some from Wal-Mart. From any experience out there, where should I intend to have all my photos printed from? I'm mostly looking at expenses. I'm not going to do it all at once but maybe 25-50 at a time every month or so. I think the Wal-Mart would be good but I know that there are places on the internet, like Shutterfly perhaps? What do you know about different prices? Thanks!

I was in the same spot. I use Snapfish.com They have awesome pricing, lower if you prepay. They are fast, and the picture quailty cannot be beat. I am a huge picture take with two little ones, and Snapfish has really hepled me stay in budget with my pictures. Another added bonus is that you can get all of your pictures online, and share the album with your family. This way, even if you cannot afford to make prints for everyone, you can still share the images.
Also, everytime you place an oder, you will want to jump onto Google. You will want to Google " Snapfish Coupon Code" This will always get you a spiffy code that will get you some free prints, free shipping or another goody that will save you.
Also as far as pricing, I have been able to get prints from snapfish for as low as 8 cents in prepay packages. The packages are only $25 and they are a great deal. Another added bonus is that you can edit your pictures from home. That way you are able to get the exact print that you want and you will not have to worry about standing in line at the machine at the store. The fact that you can work on them, then go back to it is a real time saver if you have kids.

Try shutterfly.com or kodakgallery.com. You upload from your computer, and you can add borders, and theyre very inexpensive. They send them to ure house, ive used them both and pics are awesome.

Shutterfly is wonderful!! I have many many pictures made by Shutterfly and they turned out grrreat!!!

They charge a few cents per picture. They are very reasonable in price! And they can give you a wide variety of pictures sizes such as wallet size, and others..

http://www.shutterfly.com/

Cheers

WALGREENS is the best I found. It isn't that expensive. you don't have to pay shipping unless you want to and if you are in a hurry to get he photos you can pick them up within the hour

You can also try http://www.adorama.com . They do a decent job. Click on the tab titled "Adorama Pix". It is on the top of the home page. You can download a "color profile" which will help with your results. If you don't know how to use color profiles Adorama also has a feature called "use color correction" that you mark off when you are setting up your order.
Good luck.

One of the best value for money is offered by "colormailer". Try colormailer.com then choose your lab. I use their services for bulk printing or for large formats, and I am always satisfied.

Print them at home..
get yourself a Canon Selphy printer.. you can get one
for $49.95 at J&R Music World..

The paper and ink costs about $25... and you can print
108 photos for that price..

You can get it done cheaper at Walmart etc.. but the convenience of doing it yourself is worth the extra pennies..

www.mpix.com

no doubt about it .. the best printing place around. I've tried everyone from my local guy to Kodak online. MPIX beats everyone on quality and price.

Try Shutterfly, it's the cheapest I've seen, and they send you great quality pics, and they arrive in about 3 days or so. They also have great sales all the time!

I've used Photoworks for numerous things. You can do anything thru them: calendars, photo books (various sizes), notepads, mouse pads, mugs, canvas, cards, and tons more. I printed a ton of pictures from my edding and didn't have any problems.

You can use CVS pharmacy's online photo shop store. The price is $0.19 for each 4x6 pict. You can print them and pick them up to the store or have them shipped to you. You can use your CVS advantage card and get savings that way.

If you do not have a CVS close to you or you wanna try different place, you can go to www.motofoto.com, they offer prints from prints and from digital cameras. You can also make wallets and order mugs and greeting cards for holidays and stuff..

From what I have been able to see from what others have said, the cheapest place is Wal-Mart. Now, if you want them shipped to the store for pick up (and you would have to be patient for that to be an option) then you can get them for like 12 cents a picture, which is the best. If you want one-hour photo, you would have to pay for that. However, if you wanted them shipped to your home, you could do that as well and it is relatively inexpensive for that. I have done it and think that it works the best of any other set-up. It takes a little while to upload them all but if you are doing just a little at a time, that's no big deal. I just got married and used WalMart for all of my pictures. I got some 200 plus pictures (plus some in larger than 4x6) and it cost me a total of like $40.00. Great deal. Good luck and hope you find what you are looking for.

I would recommend to you to try SNAPFISH.com. They are great for digital photos. And its not expensive. they can ship them to you or you can pick them up in-your local Walgreen's store. i have been printing my pictures there for a year now, and I LOVE it.

I find http://www.ezprints.com cheap and pretty fast and good print quality, never had a problem with them.

Have fun printing!

snapfish is pretty good too...

Costco. Hopefully your a member. I am an employee of Costco and also print my pictures through my computer with them. I believe it is 17 cents per picture and they do a beautiful job or your money back. They also give you the options of what size you like and if you wanted printed on certain items. All you do is download some software and pick up the pictures at your local Costco.

SnapFish isn't bad, take a look at them. I think you can get 25 prints free too.

Costco is very good. I found it easiest to take a USB drive full of photos and just print out of there.

Walgreens
Shuttlefly

All great choices. I've yet to try any of them because I have an expensive printer that does the same job. Good luck!

I'm very into scrapbooking and I print about 50 pictures a month. I've been working with snapfish.com and I'm very happy with the quality and turnaround time. The pictures cost 10 cents a picture if you prepay for 1000, which ends up being $100. Shipping costs a little more, but the more you buy, the less (per picture) the shipping cost. The most I've paid on shipping was about 5 cents per picture--bringing the cost up to 15 cents a picture. They have great options of adding borders, matte or glossy, and various shipping dates and prices. For the cheapest price, I've found it takes about 3-5 days to come to my house. What's nice also is that you can share your albums with family and friends and they can order pictures as well and you get 20 free prints when you sign up with them. You can also upload at home and choose to pick it up at Walgreens (19 cents a picture) if you need the pictures right away--within an hour. What I also like about snapfish is that they correct the size of the digital pictures. Most digital pictures are not 4x6, rather they are about 3.5x5.5, causing pictures to get cut off if they are printed at the 4x6 size, so snapfish prints them at the true digital print size. Their pictures come out great and I am very happy using them.
Hope this helps--check it out yourself!

Try Costco. They have same day delivery and charge about 17 cents per standard 3x5 print. One has the option to pick glossy or matte finish.

I use www.Dotphoto.com you get 50 free prints when you sign up and if you use the following code you can get 10% off your entire order.

PHOTO10OFF

They are really fast too!

Check out :
kmbrown.myphotomax.com

No cost to sign up, store, email organize all digital photos. Also, free prints just for trying them out.

They also offer a service to upload all your old snap shots to preserve them.

It's a great site.

DEFINITELY snapfish.com
Its really cheap, great prints, delivered right to your door !

Shutterfly is comparatively cheaper than stores. You'll also get 15 prints free for opening a new account with them. I recently ordered 15 prints and I'd to pay only $1.99 for shipping & handling. However, the prints came out a little darker, but nice!

We use http://www.kodakgallery.com. The photos are just as great as Kodak has always been, and the prices are pretty good. The Kodak gallery is also great for sharing your digital photos with family, and friends on the Internet, and like the other ones out there it is free.
