I am buying a sony memory card....?

I am buying a sony memory card for my sony cyber shot digital camera it is a pro duo memory card and is 2GB. The are alot of these cards on the website at different prices as some come with a "Adapter" and some do not i have one. To put pictures from camera to pc do i need a adapter and what is a adapter for??

They made the new cards smaller so you would have to use the adapter to make the smaller new card fit the camera.If you can buy the older version i still do.

I got a Sandisk one for my sony camera, i have never had to use an adapter, just the standard USB cable.

The sony ones are so so overpriced, you can get cheaper versions which do exactly the same job!

you ought to get an adapter purely because if you get a card reader it is a smoothrt and faster transfer to pc, also , many developers has those DIY printing machines that will only except the bigger cards. and if it is free, why not.

why do you need an adapter memory cards just plug in to your printer these days and of you go never heard of an adaptor before

Sony mp3's take different sizes. If you have a fairly new sony camera, it will take the memory stick pro duo. My 2 year old sony takes the memory stick pro.
