I need to buy me a new Laptop, a Digital camera (D80) and of course an MP3 player. To stimulate sales are prices lower before Christmas or is it better to wait until after the holidays? I am an avid and savvy shopper, and In my opinion, I would wait until after Christmas because #1 the stores are trying to unload as much inventory as possible to reduce tax costs and #2 to make room for the newest models, versions etc... in 2007 that will come out. #3 many things get returned and discounted even further after someone has opened an item, and possibly goes into clearance if they return it without a box, tag, etc.... #4 One of the busiest days of the year for shopping is of COURSE the day AFTER Christmas sales!
