I would love to get a camcorder instead of a digital camera this year. I want a camera that can take good still-shots, image stabilizer, tele-macro function, and produces really crisp and vivid movies. I want to be able to go back and edit them with the computer, but Im not sure which would be better for that. Dvd, Mi-dv, Tapeless, I dont know!! If it had a swivel screen and a wind reduction (This camcorder will be going outside a bit) That would be wonderful. I dont want to spend an insane amount. I would probably be able to go from anything in the $300-$500 price range. Any help or tips for a novice? (A very determined one though mind you.)
Thanks =P This site might give you a good head start on picking the right camcorder for your use.
