Camera choosing?

so i wanna get a camera
just to take pictures of people and places
but i dont want a big one
a digital one would due,
what is the best type for those reasons?

and can i have the price too?

Canon makes a complete line of digital cameras. Higher end cameras have more functions. For normal point and shoot at people and places, a basic one will do.
