The Palm Zire 72 offers a 1.2 megapixel camera, stereo headphone output, bluetooth (for connectivity with mobile phone), 32 MB ram with 24 for storage, and expansion slot (for additional memory).
It retails for $250 but is in the process of being phased out. So most likely you will get a better price for it. You will want to purchase your SD on the internet. eCost, Buy.com, newegg.com, and amazon.com will often have good deals when combined with rebates.

It's handy to carry around one and only one device. I never consistently used a PDA prior to owning a Treo (even though I owned a Palm III).
I use 3rd party software called PocketTunes to rent subscription music from Yahoo Music Unlimited. It'll work with any of the Palm devices.
The digital camera is "okay" for quick snapshots and capturing notes on whiteboards but it is not really camera quality.
Internet on the device is usable but some cellular providers charge an arm and a leg for wireless data.
You don't need a memory card initially but if you want music on the player, I recommend buying a 2GB SD card to go with the PDA.
