Can you trust Wal-Mart's 6MP digital cameras?

Hi, I'm buying a new 6MP (6 mega pixel, for those who don't know) digital camera and I was wondering if you can rely on Wal-Mart's digital cameras. I know it depends on brand and stuff, but I was also wondering if anyone could give me a few GOOD 6MP DIGITAL CAMERAS AND BRANDS THAT ARE IN A PRICE RANGE OF ABOUT $105.50. (or less of course)

I'll leave the trusting walmart issue alone.

But really, walmart (or any other retailer) doesn't make the cameras so it really doesn't matter who is selling it, it matters who is making the camera.

But where walmart comes into play is their return policy. I haven't checked lately, but they used to allow returns on cameras with no restocking fee. Almost every other retailer will charge you a restocking fee (15%) if the camera isn't defective.

I find that it's an advantage to have that piece of mind that I can return an item if I get it home and just plain don't like the picture quality and want to buy something else.

Again, check with walmart to see what their current policy is, but this has been helpful to me in the past.

PS Someone wrote in just a few questions from yours that their Samsung S630 broke.

Nikon, Canon, Casio, Panasonic, Samsung are but a few. Choose one that uses SD memory cards.

walmart are known for cheap things you only get what you pay for and it also depends on the spec . mega pixels dont mean anything a 3mp with a good lens is better than a6mp with a crap lens . the big companies can only sell new models by uping the mps , its a marketing ploy I have a canon d30 slr with 3mps but aexcellent lens and i get a3 prints no probs

If you buy a Nikon, Canon, Sony or Kodak camera
from them you shouldn't have any problems.

Stay away from the less popular names.

In your price range, check on the Nikon L10.
