i need one to make videos to put on websites like youtube, yahoo videos, etc. considering i have all the right settings when i make the videos (on my computer), what are some features i might want for non-blurry, good-quality videos? my price range is under $500... if you know of any that have worked well for things like this before, please let me know. thanks! it would be cool if it had an sd card slot, but any kind of memory card/chip is good for me. tapes might be okay if it's really a great camera, but i want to stay away from them since i'll be editing a lot using the computer. thanks again. =] here's a great camcorder buying guide:
http://www.easycamcorders.com/content/Be... your ideas for what you want is good the only thing i would add is built in infrared feature. Where u can record in total darkness at 1am like you can zoom in on a license plate from a block away but it would be in black and white when played back.
i have a samsung digital video cam with a cleaning tape i got at circuit city 2 yrs ago for $230. The lcd is going out on it, u have to position it slowly to get a clear picture or just use the viewfinder.
also try not to get a dvd camera those are too expensive like $700-1000. just stick with the infrared feature and the cartridge for now and then hook up camera to cpu and copy all your cartridge tapes onto the hard drive and then save them into a folder and burn all of them to dvd then u will have a dvd camera the smart way. |
