P.S- IM A GIRL...I DONT WANT A HUGE MAN-ISH ONE
THANKSS! I bought this camera for $200 and absolutely love it. As a girl I wanted something small too. And it is. It takes video with sound, it has auto flash or it can be turned off and it has different settings for different lighting situations.

digital camera GUIDE

the guide should answer your questions I've been happy with the Fujifilm Finepix F10. It's discontinued, but you can buy a refurbished one for $200.
1. It has a good flash, like you want.
2. It shoots 640x480 video, like most other compact digital cameras. The only thing that sucks is once it's recording video, it won't change the focus.
3. It can take pictures very fast (especially if you don't use the flash), even in low light. Some cameras have a cow if there isn't much light.
It's not as thin as other compact digital cameras, but it's not too bad. Kodak EasyShare V1003! It's like $230, and it fits with everything you've said! It's really compact, and you'll love it!
http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.... I was just in your position. I did my research and ended up buying Sony's Cyber-Shot DSC W80. I love it, it's tiny but takes great pictures and is easy to use. Right now Staples has them for $250 with a 1gig memory stick. They also have a printer for $90 with $90 worth of rebates when you buy the camera.
http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores... Even though I personally own this ultra compact camera, I would still like to highly recommend the purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L10 for the following reasons:
1. Besides taking well-exposed hi-quality 5 megapixel pictures, it uses a standard set of rechargeable double AA batteries which last a very long time;
2. Has a 3x optical zoom;
3. The flash setting for "red-eye" correction is on the navigator wheel and not within a submenu;
4. It's very small and light;
5. Uses inexpensive SD memory cards;
6. The digital video feature takes wonderful "sound" videos which are noise free. It records the piano very well with it's built-in microphone;
7. It comes with a USB 2.0 transfer cable which you connect to your USB computer port;
8. Has tripod mount on bottom of camera;
9. And the price is a mere $99 [sold at Samy's Camera - www.samys.com, and Staples.com.]
