I don't know what digital camera to buy...?

i would love something like sony's dsc-t50...espacially with the feature ---i took this from the sony site-- but at a lower price

...i'm interested in making night photos...like a christmas tree or a house with decorations at night...and i need a stable camera to do that...

look for something with high megapixels and good zoom. they will come on sale or u could wait til prices lower

Because the T50 is a brand new model, it will obviously be quite costly.
You might have to wait for several months for the price to come down. Or wait till late Feb. next year, when many manufacturers announce new models, which will then slowly bring the price down.
Or shop around for the best cash price.
It sounds like a good camera...

Please make this comparison. The Sony DSC-T50 vs. the Canon Powershot SD800-IS. They cost the same, but the Canon gives you a much faster lens (better in low light and better at stopping action) and an optical viewfinder.

I think you will be happier with the Canon in the long run and it is just as sleek as the Sony. It's not red, but it's still a chic camera.
