Does anyone know of any digital cameras that are good for a budget film that would have potential to be good enough quality to either fool its audience to look like film, or have enough potential to make a feature film and get a distribution deal? I looked at the HV20, its a good price camera... Apparently its very good, but does it have enough to make a feature film worthy of a theatre release??
Thanks guys. David. HV20 does have the 24p mode. I don't know your budget, perhaps you could inform me, but with the information provided, an inexpensive camcorder, but with pro-sumer aspirations I could recommend, would be the Panasonic PV-GS400. If you have about a $2000 plus budget, I could recommend the Panasonic AG-DVX100B. The HV20 is nice, but if you want to 'fool' the audience, get a camera with 24p mode, to make the movie 'appear' more film-like. |
