What type of digital camera do you recommend that is reasonably priced?

Currently, I have a basic point and shoot. It does a great job, I am just looking for something that has some more detail.

Kodak easyshare one. It has wi-fi capability, a large 256 mb internal memory and a flip 3.0 inch LCD screen for $200 and under.

Pentax makes really great and affordable digital cameras!

Our new Sony is terrific, but it was fairly expensive. Look for sale ads in the paper and don't settle for a no name.

Canon PowerShot S2 IS.
Good lens, fairly compact and sturdy, easy to use.

Try a Sony. Some of them are so small they can fit in your pocket. I say one at Walmart for under $50.00USD! Try going there if there is one near you.
