I am going to buy a digital camera soon and the one i was looking at the most is the Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 its roughly around $250... does anyone know if this is a good decision or if i should get something eles better around the same price range? The only (but maybe most important problem) thing you have going against the Sony is their use of the "Memory Stick". ONLY Sony uses this memory card. Most of the cameras use SD cards, so if you later want to upgrade to a newer camera and already us SD cards, your choices will be much greater.
There are three cameras that have similar specifications as the W80 that use the more common SD cards.
Nikon Coolpix L12, L5 and Canon PowerShot A710 IS a fine camera
