Hi, I'm looking to buy a camcorder with the ability to take pictures as well. Here's what I'm looking for, the camera delay to take the picture is low.I currently have a digital camera that takes forever to take the picture, then when you want to take another picture it takes a good 30 sec or more to set back up. Well, by that time, my son has moved, or if I want to get wildlife, they have moved also. I don't want that again. :) Good Sound and Video on Camcorder, ability to zoom in on the video. Looking under the $1,000 price range. I like the idea that you can put your movie right on a dvd-r, from the camera, but can you edit it before it burns? Is it possible to hook a camera up to the tv, and burn from the dvd player? My computer dvd burner isn't working. Should I buy a memory card also or does the cameras come with a good one? I want something that is easily charged. I'm looking for something to take home movies with, nothing fancy. Would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks much! It doe not use tapes at all but records the images onto a built-in hard drive. I have the JVC Everio MG155 and I love it. It is small enough to hide into your jacket and I don't have to worry about tapes. It is really easy to use and my wife loves it too because of its size. MiniDv cameras will eventally be fazed out and will be replaced bu HDD cameras. |
