What is a good digital camera that's easy to use and has a reasonable price?

I currently have the Kodak Easyshare cd33 and sometimes the pictures come out blury or crappy.

the cannon ELPH series are very user friendly with big screens they also have good prices.

I recently bought the Canon SD800 IS. It's an 8 megapixel digital camera that is small, lightweight, easy to use and takes fantastic pictures. You can get it for around $350.

The Canon Powershot A series are high quality, consumer friendly digicams. Nikon, Olympus, and Sony all have good cameras that will produce great snaps when used with a bit of care. I suggest you read the manual thoroughly and practice and your pictures will get better no matter what camera you choose!

It really depends on what you want in a camera. If you want a camera you can put in your pocket, the Casio Exillm cameras are great. Just remember...the smaller the camera, the smaller the flash...you need flash almost 100% of the time to get good clear photos when your using point and shoot cameras. If want something that is user friendly, good zoom, good flash...Kodak (not my favorite), Canon, Fuji (the higher-end ones), and Sony (you'll pay to much for it)...all have some pretty decent cameras.
You will also want to consider Mega pixels. don't go lower than 4 (not only because of the picture quality, but anything lower than 4 doesn't have the technology you will want and it will frustrate you.)

The Canon Powershot series have the best reviews. Since you don't wanna spend the money but you want a really good camera. The Canon Powershot SD600 should do the trick. It's 6 megapixels with a 2.5" inch screen, 3x optical zoom, basic feature set and all this very good basic stuff. It goes for around $250 but Amazon has it on sale rite now for $215 out the door.

Pictures that look blurry or crappy may be a result of human action and not camera problem. Anyway a better camera helps a lot to improve picture quality. Any Canon powershot, Casio Exilim or Olympus mju-series with 6 or more megapixels is a good choice. Good luck!

Btw I have some photo experience and a high-end 8 megapixel camera and still take some crappy pictures from time to time ... so don't worry, just keep shooting ...
