What's a good price for a digital camera ?

I feel like i got ripped off when i got mine
I paid 350 but my friend said she paid 75 for hers???????????

Prices where you start getting into quality and features like manual controls and image stabilizer start around $180 through $250. In almost all cases you shouldn't compare a $75- camera to a $350- camera. Did you get a super zoom camera, or manual controls or image stabilizer? What is model of your camera?

Well that really all depends on what you want. How many megapixals do you want it to be. What quality do you want. Things like that. Now there are so many and some that take video. I would go to some place that has a wide varity like best buy, circuit city, or even walmart but talk to someone who knows about cameras and see what would be best for you in your price range.

$75 is an entry level Sanyo or Samsung. It wouldn't compare at all with a Sony, Canon, Fuji, Kodak mid-level or top end camera at $350
