looking for a new digital camera..which online shop has the lowest price?

Dont use ebay, or you risk the camera being damaged, or at least second hand, and hard to get money back. Paypal is notorious for holding onto money for months during disputes. General "electrical" cheap sites can go bust, email you saying its out of stock, keeping your money for months, or just a scam.
Look in "amateur photographer" for ads with online ordering.

Compare all prices...and their back up. Is it worth RISKING a few quid in savings, to loose the lot, or have it held up in disputes, out of stock, unanswered emails etc. Most photograhy retail is so competitive, youll get a feel looking around stores with online sites, as to the real value, and average price of a particular camera, and see which is the best, out of the reputable shops.
Try: Argos, Jessops, Cameraworld, Bristolcameras, Pixmania, etc to get a feel for the genuine "bargains".
