Should I get an Iphone? |
Ok, I love gadgets. I have a cell, a digital camera, a nano, a wireless wifi-capable PDA, and a laptop, but it seems like the iPhone brilliantly combines all of these things. I've been doing alot of research and reading reviews, and I still can't make up mind. Anyway, I'm already a Cingular customer. No troubles there. And my current Razor seems to be giving out on me. So should I give in to the hype? I'd especially love to hear from people that have already purchased one. I got the iPhone the day it was released, and it is one cool device. The picture quality and capabilities are awesome. There are some limitations. The speaker for music and video playback is very low (however, still loud enough to hear from a short distance.) Also, there is no video camera yet, and as far as the internet is concerned, not all pages are completely visible because you cannot download Java or Flash yet. Still, surfing the web is very easy. In addition, the iPhone does not allow for multimedia messaging or game/ringtone downloading yet. These things are said to be resolved in the coming months. wait until cingular upgrades their network to 3G. wait till the iphone has a bigger storage than 8GM, and wait until the iphone has PICTURE MESSAGING, a simple feature this $600 wonder seems to lack =] GO TO EBAY. i havent purchased one but i searced for it there. great deals Only if you have service where you are going to use it. alot of people don't i plan on buying one eventually. I don't own one, but I have experience with them. I played with one of my friends'. I really, really didn't like it. Everything just didn't work well enough to pay 500 or 600 dollars for it. If it were a normal phone for about 100 dollars, it'd be great. But it's not, it's 500-600 dollars and it's just not worth it in my opinion. Plus, where it's still new, there are some glitches as well. IMO, you should definitely wait about 6 months to make sure it's got the bugs worked out and upgraded. No, the iphone is cool but lacks a lot like gps, games and other basic things. Plus, Apple isn't letting 3rd party developers make programs for it, only through the internet. I would rather get a smartphone. |
