I Can't Download My Pic's From My Printer...Help!!!?

I have a HP C5180 All-in-One Printer. My computer has window vista. I put in my chip inside the printer. I can only review my pic's from the screen of the printer. My computer won't allow me to review, crop or safe the pic's in its memory.
It use to. My digital camera DOESN'T have a cable plug or any type of plug, so it can go into my computer. What steps can I do in my programming? Please provide step by step for me if you know. Thanks!

I have downloaded HP softward from their website. I can print out web pages to the pic's I already have in the computers memory. When it was working. *** Is there anything in the computer I am needing to look into or do??*******

You need to go to HP.com and download an updated driver for your printer to work with Vista. Is a large file so be patient it takes a while to download.
once installed it will recognize your card reader from the printer.

chances are that the pics that are not working are in a format that is not compatible with Vista
