Concert video/photo?

i just went to bamboozle and all my videos sound terrible and my camera just sucks..its a dxg? ive had it forever and i need to upgrade. can someone give some good cameras and some reviews maybe of camera that will take good pics ( with good zoom ) and one that will take okay sounding videos at a concert? im lookinf for anything under 180$-215$ thanks so much

I've had very good luck asking around at electronics stores like Best Buy for older models of the cameras that are currently on display. Many times, the new model will come out and they'll shelve the old one which means you can get it at a cheaper price. You'll usually only be missing a couple of the new features.
