Camera Review, Sony DSC H50? |
I have read good reviews about the DSC H3 ... but I'm hoping to wait a couple of months so I can afford something with a bit more specs. Just wondered if anyone has used a DSC H50 and what quality is like... for example any purple fringing? any turqouise lines on shiny objects of anything else strange happening? what is quality like at 400 iso? red eye? etc is it a good buy? You need to do more research on the H3 it is not a very well rated model. I would choose an H2 or H5 and never look back to this day to be honest with you. Hopefully the H50 is back on track where these two former models were, bigger yes they were but more importantly way better... Don't be misled by all the sales crappola out there about "more" megapixels" is better either.... to get better you need far more then 8 or 10 megs and that goes for cropping as well. A 6 meg can produce better results in this case then an 8 meg camera. Hopefully the H50 with a better sensor and better algorithmic programming will put Sony back on track with where it was going in the H2 and H5. When sensors and computers can start handling massive resolution amounts I'll be satisfied that there is some kind of improvement, but right now...8-10-12 megs? What a hoot.... especially when some outdated 6 meg models from a few years ago outdo them. |
