Where do you keep your pictures stored?

Since you got that new digital camera, you've acquired thousands of priceless photos. Where do you keep your pictures stored? I stored mine in a personal scrapbook, on my iPod, PC, and some I framed and grouped them on my tabletops and shelves. How about you people?

I've got most of mine on my pc but I also have several photo albums. I want to get out a few special ones and keep them near my bed. I also have some photos on my phone.

I keep most on my laptop, until I print them out, then I either delete them or keep them there for backup.

in my box, or on the computer. sometimes i put it on a cd.

In my creative memories box! Until I can scrapbook them.

I do store mine in scrapbooks. Creative Memories...they test everything. I have some on disks, but....ones that I just saved on disks 2 yrs ago are already deleting OFF the disks. It does happen. Also, flash drives are only meant to last 5-8 yrs. So don't be fooled thinking things are backed up.

I put all mine on a backup hard drive and burn them to a disc

I use a separate folder in My Pictures to download our photos to then I copy them to a CD for safe keeping in case of a crash.

As you do all over my house BUT I also keep a hard back up on a disk so if anything happens I can print out more!!!!!!!

A lot of mine are printed off and in a photoalbum or frames and more are on my Creative Zen Vision M so I can look at them when I'm not home. =) But I also have 2 back up cds of all my pictures just in case (i'm paranoid about loosing my pictures!)

well i got some on cds that are with mostly movies. The others are located on my other computer. The most of my priceless photos that take up all the space is on my zune, because I don't my computer with such things. For all I know I could lose the photos tomorrow.

I USED TO store them on my hard drive that crashed this past weekend. Digital sucks unless you have the cash to afford back up capability !

$1500 bucks minimum to rescue them...if they can be.
$200 bucks just to find that out...
If I had that kind of money I'd have bought 10 back up drives !

Well I store mine in a Photo book.

Here is the way the pros do it:

#1: On the hard disk, (disk array RAID level 5 and similar)
#2: A copy on a separate hard disk in a separate room
#3: A copy on a DVD in a separate room or building
#4: Print on good, acid-free paper using good ink, in a fireproof closet

Pros use a picture database like Fotostation Pro to add text to the files so that they find every photo in a split second.

On computer and on cd's

in my laptop. and then i make a copy to the cd and hide the cd in our safe deposit.

i haven't got time to develop them and frame them...

I display them, everywhere! I have a long hallway and it is covered in framed pictures, top to bottom, well about 12 inches from the floor; literally...and then my fridge is covered too.........

1. I burned it to a DVD for back-up.
2. I stored it to my PC Hard Drive for easy access.
3. I print it for hard copy and for album.
4. I posted it on the internet for sharing to my family and friends around the world.

They are in my computer somewhere. But really I still prefer hard copies and those I still store in photo albums. And I do display some of them....got tons of picture frames (all sizes) all over the house. Makes me feel that the people I love are nearby (instead of oceans away).
