My daughter wants an iPod for Christmas. She also wants to store her photos from her digital camera on the iPod. A sales rep told me that this cannot be done. If the iPods say they store songs & photos, then, what way can photos be stored? it actually depends what kind of ipod you buy. if you have an ipod shuffle, or an ipod mini or the first generation ipods, you can't store pictures.
Ipods which can store music and pictures are:
1.)ipod nanos- stores music, photos, ebooks, contacts, has an alarms,
2.)ipod photo- stores music, photos, ebooks, contacts, has an alarm and the newer one,
3.) ipod video: stores music, photos, ebooks, contacts, has an alarm but also stores MP4-meaning you can save movies converted to the ipod video playable format.
I recommend if you get the ipod video, just get the 30 gigabyte one, it is more practical and basically is almost the same memory size of a basic laptop.
Hope this helps. the store retailer is obviously wrong! what a jerk! you can store photos on a ipod nano That salesperson doesn't know what they're talking about. I have multiple folders on my iPOD containing all sorts of photos I've taken.
All you have to do is get those photos from your camera, onto your computer, from there add them into iTUNES, and then connect the iPOD to iTUNES using the included cable. It is just about the easiest thing in the World. And I'm sure your daughter will know exactly how to do it. Kids know everything! |
