faster than amazon.com?
I visited http://astore.amazon.com/goodcolleges-20 Personal Amazon Store,searched for digital cameras on a dial-up connection and was impressed by the speed of which pages loaded. I then went to amazon.com and repeated the same search and found it slower!
Also, what is the difference between shopping at an amazon astore and amazon.com?
Amy In http://astore.amazon.com/goodcolleges-20 Personal Amazon Store if you look at the web address there is no www which means it is connected to a faster, dedicated server.Where as, you have www.amazon.com with the www, which makes it a few milliseconds slower.You would also get more traffic at amazon.com which slows your surfing.
I must add, that both are on amazon servers!
In answer to your second question the difference between shopping at amazon and an astore.
1.Astores are part of amazon鈥檚 associate program.
2.Astores are faster to shop at.
3.Shopping becomes a personal experience at an astore.
3.In both cases your money is paid directly to amazon.
4.Your transactions have the same level of security in both.
5.a)Some astores like this one, feature all amazon products and all their links.
b) some can choose to have some amazon products and some links.
